7th Annual Oregon Coastal Caucus Economic Summit (OCCES) focuses on Education, Carbon Sequestration & Clean Energy
The Oregon Coastal Caucus (CC) is pleased to announce that the 7th Annual Oregon Coastal Caucus Economic Summit (OCCES) will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, August 22 – 23, at the Chinook Winds Casino & Resort in Lincoln City. This year's Summit is presented in partnership with the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz. This series of important meetings will bring together congressional, state, local and tribal leaders, public policy advocates, academics and private partners to discuss a wide range of issues that reflect the unique economic diversity and needs of our coastal and rural communities.

On August 8, 1907, the first professional engineering license was issued to Charles Bellamy in Wyoming. Since that time, licensure has expanded and professional engineers across the U.S. have made the commitment to protect the public health, safety, and welfare. NSPE is celebrating licensed professional engineers with the second annual Professional Engineers Day on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Join us as we raise awareness about what it means to be a PE, recognize licensed PEs, and show appreciation for the work they do each and every day.
